BRITISH & IRISH MASTERS CHAMPS 2024 - TRIAL RESULTS
The team selection process this year will see trial races at Tollcross Park on 12th October, for the International on 16th November in Belfast.
There will be two races on Saturday 12th October; a 6Km race for women & men over 65 will start at 1pm & an 8Km race for all other men will start at 1.45pm.
A new format for selection in the Men’s Teams will be as follows; in the M35-39, M40-44, M45-49 & M50-54 age groups the first 4 finishers will be selected with an additional 2 being selected on known form. Similarly in the remaining men’s age groups the first 3 finishers will be selected along with a further 1 on known form.
The female Teams will remain as follows; the first 2 finishers will be selected as before with 2 selected on known form.
(Previous / recent cross country and 5K & 10K performance on Power of 10 will be used)
Entry is free for SVHC members & £5 for non-members with payment being made on race day.
Although the trial races are open to all aged 35 or over it should be noted that selection for the team for the International is available only to SVHC members. We would hope to announce the team within two weeks of the trial races.
