The team selection process this year will see trial races at Tollcross Park on 4th October, for the International on 15th November in Leeds.
There will be two races on Saturday 4th October; a 6Km race for women & men over 65 will start at 12 noon & an 8Km race for all other men will start at 12.45pm.
A new format for selection in the Women’s & Men’s Teams will be as follows; in the 35-39, 40-44, 45-49 & 50-54 age groups the first 3 finishers will be selected with an additional 2 being selected on known form. Similarly in the remaining age groups the first 3 finishers will be selected along with a further 1 on known form.
(Previous / recent cross country and 5K & 10K performance on Power of 10 will be used)
Entry is free for SVHC members & £5 for non-members with payment being made on race day.
Although the trial races are open to all aged 35 or over it should be noted that selection for the team for the International is available only to SVHC and UKA members. We would hope to announce the team within one week of the trial races.

Preparations are well underway: -
30 double/twin and 5 single rooms booked at The Queen’s Hotel, Leeds, the race headquarters and location of the prize-giving.
There will be a bus leaving on the morning of Friday 14th November, provisionally at 10.30am from North Hanover Street, returning Sunday 16th after breakfast. Those on the bus would not get the travel subsidy.
